Wand Smoke: Tales from the Labyrnith
THe Tears of WInter
Delve through darkness and deeper darkness, down into the labyrinthian depths of the soul of the Lord of Fear!
Nearly four hundred years before the tyrannical reign of Old King Ogier, there was his great, great grandfather, the petty poet Sieg.
From his lowly seat atop high Yggdrasil's oratory, Sieg sighs and writes of better men's adventures—that is, until he spies the beautiful leanan sídhe Titania bathing atop Mount Hel's Lake Fervor, spurring him to put pen to parchment and his heart into a poem with which he hopes to woo the fay maiden. But the way is dangerous, blocked by Union Church Champions, black Skræling savages, faeries, hobgoblins, trolls, hags, ghosts, and demons as yet unseen in the world of Wand Smoke.
Is Sieg man enough to survive and confess his true love? Only the spirit of evil King Ogier can tell you: "Alright you troglodyte! If that’s what you want, I’ll tell you the tale. But you had better listen closely, or as my father, King Gøtrik, once told me, “Hark, Ogier! For it would be a dishonor to our family’s legacy should I need repeat myself.”
